Home of the Stratford & District Horticultural Society
The Stratford and District Horticultural Society (Garden Stratford) was founded in 1878. Our floral emblem is the iris, which is also Stratford’s civic flower. We’re a vibrant community with more than 270 members of all ages and different horticultural backgrounds.
Gardening is an activity that touches many aspects of life: art, food, health, our environment, urban forestry, communities and even family legacies. We encapsulate that with our vision of “Gardening for Life!”
